Bluegrass Choral Music Festival

Sat, Sept 19, 2026*

Annually, UK Choirs hosts over 400 high school singers for the Bluegrass Choral Music Festival. The event is Sat. 9/19 9am-6pm and culminates in a FREE Concert in the Singletary Concert Hall. Participation costs cover registration, music and a t-shirt for the performance.

Typically there are two festival choirs - SSA and SATB. All 9th grade treble voices will be placed in the SSA group. All 9th grade male voices and all 10th-12th graders will be placed in the SATB group because of focus on the senior high all-state audition piece at this event.
