FundraisingFundraising is a crucial part of a successful school music program. In order for us to offer first-class opportunities to your student, we must all participate in fund raising. Planning and implementing fundraising is the primary responsibility of the Chorus Booster Association.
The Choral Department and Boosters work hard to keep student costs low for trips and other activities and work to offset those low fees with fundraising efforts. Please keep in mind all of the often unseen, behind the scenes expenses when considering your level of commitment to fundraising. Boosters encourage and support ownership in the entire program from all students and families at all levels. Your help is a necessity to continue the support of this outstanding program. Your child is worth it! Choir Contributions Choir contributions are an important part of providing outstanding opportunities to your students. Please give as you can. Sponsorship provides an opportunity for area businesses and patrons to show their support for arts education and the LHS choral program. In return for a sponsor’s generous support we will provide several advertising opportunities during our choral concert season. The campaign is the most important fundraiser of the year. We ask each student to sell $50 in sponsorships. Cookie Dough and Candle Sales - October Each year we sell cookie dough and Candleberry Candles. These make great gifts for the holiday season. Snap-Raise - March-April Snap-raise is an online crowd-funding campaign. We are grateful to all our supporters! Fundraising Donation Program - Year-Round We ask all students to participate in fundraising efforts to the best of their ability. Chorus boosters sponsors 3 main fundraisers per year (Sponsorship Campaign, Cookie Dough & Candle sales, and Snap-raise crowd-source fundraising). If fundraising is not for you, Lafayette Choir Boosters, Inc. gladly accepts fundraising donations instead. Choir Boosters suggests a donation amount of $150 or $50 per fundraiser to help us meet the fundraising needs of the organization. Monetary contributions to the Lafayette Booster organization (501(c)3) may Tax-Deductible. (Ask your tax adviser.) Additional Fundraisers

Non-Sales Fundraisers - Year-Round Throughout the year the chorus boosters sponsor events and activities that help raiser funds for our organization. Some past activities have included Amazon gift wrapping, pancake breakfast, karaoke, and others. Please consider giving of your time if you are contacted.
