Chaperone InformationAs a chaperone for the Lafayette Choirs, you can experience the joy and satisfaction of contributing to the success of our many students. We can only offer the outstanding opportunities for students that we do because of the continued support of our parents and volunteers. We believe that we have the best students in the school and are proud for you to experience that first-hand as a chaperone. We think you will find that our students are for the most part easy to chaperone and fun to be around.
Chaperones on all off-campus field trips are required to complete the Chaperone Contract. Once signed, we keep all contracts on file for the current academic year.
Additionally, all chaperones must complete the Fayette County Volunteer Online Application. This is a background check is required by Kentucky state law and is valid for 4 years. Volunteers can check their status using this same form. Please be sure to select Lafayette as one of your schools. Human Resources in FCPS keeps a list of approved volunteers; for questions, call:
