Lafayette's Alma Mater
Lafayette's Alma mater is sung to the melody of the National Anthem of Germany composed by Franz Josef Haydn in 1797. In 2013, the choir commissioned a fully orchestrated version from Dr. Johnie Dean. At that time, Dr. Dean penned two new verses which were crafted to reflect textual elements of the first verse. The choir and band perform this each year at Lafayette's Commencement Ceremonies.

Der Geist Hilft - Motet BWV 226 - J.S. Bach
Der Geist Hilft, BWV 226 is one of Bach's 7 extant motets. The work is scored for double chorus. The Lafayette Madrigal Singers teamed with the Lexington Bach Choir (now Kentucky Bach Choir) in 2011 to perform this monument of choral music.

Only in Sleep - Ēriks Ešenvalds
This stunning composition by Latvian composer, Ēriks Ešenvalds, was the central piece in the Madrigal Singers 2015 program for the Kentucky Music Educators Association Conference. The concert was entitled "Sacred and Profane." The soloist is Quentin Prewitt.

Noel Ayisyan (Haitian Noel) - Emile Desamours
Lafayette Madrigal Singers competed in the Sing'N'Joy international competition in December 2013. Performing in the stunning venue of the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville, this performance garnered a gold diploma and named the Madrigal Singers the category winner of mixed youth choir. The choir was also featured in the headline concert and was selected by the jury members as one of four choirs to perform again at the closing awards ceremony.
