Solo and Ensemble

The Kentucky Music Educators Association sponsors district level Solo and Small Ensemble contests across the state. The Lafayette choral department urges all choir students to participate in district 7 (Lexington District) assessment each year. It is extremely valuable for students to participate in solo and ensemble contest.

This is an excellent opportunity for those studying privately and those wanting another opportunity to sing.  Mrs. Howard or Mr. Marsh will coach students as they prepare for contest. The choral department usually tries to provide an accompanist.
