Lafayette Madrigal Singers will be featured on Inspired Voices Sunday October 30 from Noon to 1:00 pm and can be heard on Lexington’s Classical music radio station WKYL 102.1 FM.  Inspired Voices is a weekly hour-long radio program hosted by Rick Dirksen and highlights outstanding choral music. 

This week on Inspired Voices, the program features music by two of Lexington’s outstanding choral organizations – The Lexington Bach Choir and the Madrigal Singers from Lafayette High School, who are preparing to give a joint concert next Friday evening, November 4.  Recordings featured on this program are from the Madrigal 2011 Spring Concert and include O Lux Beatissima – Howard Helvey, Io Mi Son Giovinetta – Claudio Monteverdi, and Invictus by Clay Gonzalez, a 2011 graduate of Lafayette.
